battery drain during sleep mode

Firmware, Windows, etc. all updated

Was at 100% then 6 hours later at 85% during sleep ...is that normal?

Also, anybody find that their Book doesn't sleep automatically simply by closing the lid sometimes? It seems to be the case often...I close the lid....then in my bag sometimes I can hear Windows alerts randomly (sort of like the alert sound you get when you get a new e-mail Outlook mail logging via a browser)....easily noticed the sound while I was sitting on a train with my laptop in my bag

Something is preventing your Surface Book from staying in S0iX Connected Standby. You can run some reports to attempt to narrow it down -

From an elevated CMD Prompt -

c:\>powercfg -energy

(you can pipe it wherever you want or just copy it from system32)

c:\>Powercfg /sleepstudy

c:\>powercfg -lastwake
