Capital Letters on Touch Cover

It appears that my touch cover does not automatically produce capital letters when starting a new sentence. If I use the onscreen keyboard it works just fine. Does anyone have a suggestion how to change this?

It works like a normal keyboard. Use shift or Caps lock!!

thank you. Of course I understand how the keyboard works. However I am used to typing in Word wit automatic capitals starting a new sentence. Why would it work on the onscreen keyboard and not the cover?

In General Settings>Touch Keyboard, choose auto capitalise. I have this set and both the onscreen keyboard and my touch cover work, and not just in Word.

weird. I have allready got the same settings marked, but it still doesn't work. Any other suggestions?
