Decent Power Retention

Did my first speaking presentation with my new Surface Pro 3.

Arrived on site and realized I had forgotten the power supply for the tablet. I have a checklist for making sure I have all my equipment when I speak, but I hadn't been feeling well, so I didn't use the checklist as usual.

I had fully charged the tablet the day before and put it in the carry case.

Presentation was for 1.5 hours. The Surface Pro 3 worked excellent, very crisp and responsive using PowerPoint. At the end of the presentation I still had 81% power which I thought was excellent compared to the laptops I was used to using.

So far I am really pleased with the Surface Pro 3 for presenting.

It's great to read these posts. I haven't read many that were happy with their uptime on battery.

In my case, the Surface Pro 3 is replacing my old laptop so that is the battery life I am comparing it to and the Surface Pro 3 is much better at battery life than my Acer laptop was.
