Flash not working on IE app

Hi

I've recently bought a surface pro 3.
The Internet Explorer app claims to have flash built in, so you don't need to download a separate player.

No flash sites work.

I',m completely new to windows 8, so I really don't know my way around.

Please excuse my ignorance.

Can anyone help?

The only workaround I've found is to install Adobe Flash for active x, and the other browser version (if you use Firefox, like me), and set the desktop version of IE11 as the default (or Firefox, like me). There is a known fault displaying flash for the modern IE11. It works sometime, and sometimes not. Microsoft has not been able to fix this as of yet......

Give us an example of a site that doesn't work.... that way we can see if the same issue happens to all other SP3 users

so maybe the flash is broken on his SP3? perhaps he should install a newer flash or upgrade it, as his might be out of date?

Flash is part of the IE core, so from an elevated cmd prompt run sfc /scannow first....

Or if OP installed Flash to IE, uninstall it and reboot
