Are you using your S3 in a corporate environment? If so, one of the easiest work arounds is to have them set you up a Workstation/Virtual Machine that allows for Remote Desktop Connections that has the horsepower needed. I did this when I was using the Surface 2 as my go to machine.

Think of it as making a Remote Desktop connection to another machine. Trouble is to support the graphics capabilities the other machine or VM needs to meet the application requirements and *most* VM's don't.

How long have you had the Surface 3? Is it within the 30 day return window?

What's your actual use case (how do you use it, why)? Student? Work?

With some more information we can guide you in the direction of choosing a reasonable upgrade.

no i dont a vm? hows it work?
You would need to talk to your IT Department, modern Enterprise Virtualization has the ability to create workstation class VMs for even graphic intense applications (It does require the server to have a dGPU supported).

You can also create such a machine using a Public Cloud such as Microsoft Azure (paid by the hour), but it would be pricey.

Your other option is to purchase a $500-600 Desktop and add Business Class GPU.
