Help please!

So I have had a surface 11 for a little while but the device has been freezing/rebooting and it gets really hot. I don’t know if this is an APU issue or if there’s a circuit on the motherboard that’s messed up but I’ve already tried using the surface diagnostic tool and other prompts in the terminal to no success. What’s worse is, my warranty has expired and I am losing money because of this! Please someone tell me what I should do? I can’t afford to pay vast amounts of money out of pocket for repairs on this thing.

Sounds like it could be the battery. Have you done the battery test? Not that it will tell you much…

Not sure on the repair difficulty to do yourself. Surfaces are known to be a nightmare.

Do you notice any swelling from the screen?
