Help using Photoshop CC and NIK (google) phot editing software

Is anyone using Photoshop CC and/or NIK (now Google) image editing software and have you had any issues, ie. small menus, etc. I am looking for help with links etc. in order to make my editing experience as close to my desktop as possible. I will be attaching the SP2 256/8 to a calibrated 24" monitor during my editing time. I am not going to try and edit images on the 10" screen. Also, any tips and pointers for a newbie would be great. I have heard about some upgrades for the Wacom pen and would love to hear about them also. Thanks.......

The only issue I have was that I downloaded the NIK trial from Google and it will not install on my SP2.

If you're attaching it to a 24" monitor, all you need is a keyboard and mouse and there is no difference from a desktop. I'm not sure what tips you'll need beyond that.
