How to add 4 Gigs to your SSD...

Do you use Hibernate Mode? I never do. Unfortunately Hibernate Mode is taking up 3 Gigs or more of your SSD with a hiberfil.sys file. You cannot "delete" this file but it is possible to turn "off" hibernate so that that big fat .sys file goes away all by itself.

Here's a good article on how to do it:

What is hiberfil.sys and How Do I Delete It?

** In addition to this, if you change your pagefile.sys to 2048 you can save almost 6 Gb of space.

If you want a good free app to show you what is using up all your disk space check this out:

That is true, but if you do not need the extended battery/power saving feature provided by hibernation, then it is definitely worthwhile to disable hibernation to free up that disk space.
