What's new

Just bought a Surface Pro 2. I can't open .exe files

so it was not an exe ?? , Norton for me it has been a headache and i stay away from it :) , but u have your preferences, keep rocking with your SP2 and promote it to others also so MS can sell many so that it doesn't end up as a failure in there balance sheets.

it an amazing machine you would agree :)

I figured it out everyone. I used WinZip and extracted the files to the Desktop. Also, I have Norton. It was the first thing I downloaded on my SP2 and everything thereafter checked out fine, no malware or viruses.

Thank you all though for giving me pointers :)

Glad you got it sorted bro :D

What was the problem? You extracted the files to the wrong location?

yah, I was extracting it the wrong way. Instead of to the desktop, i was extracting to the Start menu. Now that I got it downloaded the right way, my programs run without flaw :)

Thanks again everyone :)
