Specs: Surface Book 2, 13'', mid range, latest firmware.
Env: Philips 40 inch 4K via USB-C -> DisplayPort
Symptoms: frequently mouse lagging, even a simple move, the pointer will be freezed for a few seconds, and it's so frequent, it is practically not usable.

Any ideas?

This usually happens after updating Windows, while OneDrive is syncing. Even if OneDrive seems to show 'Up to Date', syncing could be in the background.

Another possibility is 2.4GHz interference (Bluetooth uses same frequency as WiFi). Interference may be due to your router, or somebody else's. In this case, try changing your 2.4 GHz channel to 1, 6, or 11.

Correct! It is the Bluetooth issue! Switching to wired mouse it is all good now. You are genius!
