I am amazed at how well ie works, best browsing experience on a tablet. No need for dolphin or some other third party browser here....

I use Windows Live Movie Maker that obviously is not available for the Surface RT, which led me to find ShowBiz. It provides the basic features I use frequently and is a good substitute, for now.

@doobzter, finding a good application for the Surface RT has become my "game." He he, reality game.

I highly recommend the "Great Windows App" app, it filters out a lot of garbage apps but also lists new apps released daily. My Windows Store hardly changes, not even key apps are showcased when released, Microsoft is dropping the ball in this area.

The recent update to Fhotoroom is superb, as it can now process the 48MB Nikon D800 NEF files I have, with ease! Fhotoroom now overtakes Fotor, which most recent update crippled its capability to process Nikon NEF files.

After trying out other applications, this is the one that made the cut in my applications library. Very good UI design, gesture supoort even on my Acer Aspire S3 touchpad is superb.

Currently I have been trying out various eBook Readers. Freda seems pretty good so far, book HD was ok but had a few obvious features missing.
