Just as with previous versions of Windows, the GodMode tweak is by far my favorite Windows 10 usability hack.

I like GodMode for two reasons. First, it's easy to do (there's no registry editing or messing around with system files, and there's no chance that the wheels will fall off your system). Secondly, it brings a myriad of different settings and options and puts them all in one place so I no longer have to go searching all over the operating system for them.

This feature has existed in previous version of Windows, dating back to Windows XP, but if you've recently switched up to Windows 10 you might find it a useful aid in finding things within the new operating system.

Here's how to activate GodMode (you'll need to be logged into an account that has full administrative privileges):

I find this to be such a useful tweak and is one of those Windows gems that I miss when using OS X.

My favorite part of GodMode is naming a folder
AnythingYouWant.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} works just as well.

It's the .{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} that works the magic.

GreyFoxMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} is dandy :)
