yep sir !
You can either do a fresh install of 10041 from the ISO that was made available last week or use the restore image from Surface Support. Easiest way to make the bootable device is to use xcopy

from an elevated cmd prompt with a FAT32 USB Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /e/f/s e:

Assuming D is the Mounted ISO and E is the USB Drive.

Thank you. I am going for a full recovery at first and if it doesnt work, then fresh install of 10041.

It's funny because my main problem after the 10047 update was the corruption of Spartan. I did a refresh, it screwed up everything but Spartan, which is now the only thing working on my SP3.

Update: after hours of issues, my SP3 is finally back on Win 8.1.

It was a hell of a long route.

After at least 50 useless attempts, the recovery USB worked.

Dilemma: Should I try 10047 again or stick with 8.1 for a while ?

10047. Updated yesterday. In my case, it was a bad idea. 10041 was rock solid.
Agreed. 10047 is buggy for me on the video side(on my desktop). Getting video crashes resulting in an unrecoverable black screen, requiring a hard reset. 10041 was pretty solid.
