No password for Bios and need to reset Surface 3

2 - 3 years ago I purchased a Surface 3 from Microsoft. It came with the Bios password already set. Now I have the red screen and need to do a reset and can't change the Bios to boot from USB. Is there any way to get that password or is the tablet garbage now?

Any help would be appreciated

Yes I have been there. The issue is the tablet won’t boot past the red screen so I am trying to do a reset using an USB image but the Bios is set to SSID only and it asks for a password when I enter NO PASSWORD NO CHANGES
