Office 365 - 32 or 64 bit?

I have a SB i5, 256. My office has been crashing. I noticed that I installed the 32 bit version of office and have the option to install the 64 bit version. I'm wondering if I install the 64 bit version, would that reduce the crashing?

doubtful. 99% of the users should use the 32 bit version, unless you use huge excel spreadsheets, for example.

I don't run any of those apps myself but my customers do. Visual Studio and Project are not a part of the "Office" Suite. I do know that those customers I have that run Microsoft Project and some other running Visual Studio are running the 32-bit version of Office.

A very long time ago I read all the reasons not to run the 64-bit version and it made sense but I don't remember the reasoning. I do know that when I asked my Microsoft rep why there was a 64-bit version of XP he said because people wanted/demanded it, even if my vendors weren't selling any of it. Things change.
