Onedrive too slow

I used the explorer interface on Windows 8.1....

I use explorer too. They claim that anything over 300mb will drastically limit your speed.

I copied 20GB of music I started before I went to bed it was done by morning...

I am just repeating what they said, and 20GB over night is unheard of for me, unless I am using a torrent program.
They were extremely unhelpful and seemed to know nothing about Onedrive other than blame the internet speed.
The last one, the specialist, told me if I uploaded 5000 1MB photos that would be 5GB, I have no idea why he told me that.

Ironically, I use Google Chome which can upload 1000 files at a time to Onedrive. Internet Explorer has a much lower limit (forget what it is off the top of my head). I don't like file explorer because it seems to makes the slow upload process even slower.
