rough metal edge

It's only been a couple days since I got my surface and I've started to notice that the metal finish on the left side is starting to feel spotted and rough. visually it looks perfect but when I rub my finger along it I can feel rough metal. I'm pretty sure everything was super smooth when I first got it.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is the metal finish wearing out already? TIA!

Just checked mine and found no rough edges.

Had mine since Oct 26th, used it rather extensively, no issues with fit and finsh.

my top left corner feels a little rough when I run my finger nail over it. definitely not as smooth as the rest of the edges but the finish isn't broken in any way.
