I got off my lazy butt and checked the i5-3317 and yes virtualization is supported. I asked because not all chips supports it.

That is the key, because Hyper-V is a built-in feature of Win8 Pro. I have two machines running it now.

My big question is whether I can install a Chinese Language Pack. Since it is Win8Pro, I'm assuming that I can. Hopefully I will know on Saturday.

That is sure to work.

On the vvirtualization thing, we've had machines where we run Windows Server 2008 where virtualization is not supported. Crap processor from Intel.

I just got back from BB where they had the Pro (64gb) on display. Despite the not-so-helpful staff I had a few minutes to play around with it. No pen so I can't comment on that, but the size and weight were a little surprising to me. And the back was a bit warmer than I expected. All and all I was a little more happy with my RT :) I'm still getting the Pro 128GB tomorrow though :cool2:
