SB2 Firmware?

Hi, I just bought the 1TB version of the SB2 15 (lot number 1746) from eBay. I feel like I got a a great deal on it - looks brand new and comes with complete care for almost 2 years. My question is do I need to download the latest firmware since the last owner just reset the device? I have done all of the updates that are provided by MS through Windows Update, so do I still need to manually download the latest firmware? Thanks

Nope....Firmware is written to the EEPROM for the hardware component and is a one way process
