I still cant remember OR find my post on the Microsoft forums. I swear I had the same thing on my SP2. SSID or FIPS setting.. maybe just toggle them one at a time. and possible toggle the ip6 stuff. hold hope man, I was stuck for awhile.

ok, my issue is slowly coming back to me. wireless settings/wireless properties / security / advanced settings / I turned off FIPS and or wireless settings/wireless properties / connect even if not SSID

if I remember anything else ive tried I will try to put it here. it really was a long fight to get it going, but it was so long ago

Thanks for your suggestions,
the fips setting was correct but I don't know how to get onto the ssid settings.

James,

Does it connect to other WiFi networks, (other than yours)? Can you try?

Also, remove your home network from "Manage known networks" and try to connect. This will re-introduce your network to your computer.
