Hi. My surface is stuck on a red startup screen. It's red except for three black rectangles, one where "surface" would normally show and two more towards the bottom. It's been stuck like that for at least a half hour. I've tried holding down the power button for 30 seconds. Also tried holding down per and volume up. No change. It is frozen. My only plan right now is to let the per run out and try again. Any help is appreciated.

Press and hold the Volume-up button and the Power button on the your Surface at the same time for 15 seconds and then release both of them. The screen may flash the Surface logo, but remember to continue holding down the buttons for 15 seconds.
