Surface Pro battery life - lowering display resolution? disable cameras?

Hey folks,

anyone know if lowering the Surface Pro's display resolution to 1600 x 900, disabling the cameras (which are of no use for me), disabling some services, increases battery life?

Would be nice if anyone could help me with the matter.

Thanks

I doubt that the camera would use any battery unless you're using it. As for services, that's a very broad area. Most services are needed to allow Windows to function properly. Programs are a different story. If you have anti virus doing regular scan or mail doing frequent syncing or receiving/checking those things can affect battery life.

Thanks for your reply. What you think bout lowering the screen resolution though. It doesn't seem to look any worse to reduce to 1600x900. Would this help maybe?
