Surface Pro power issue

I've been having trouble with my Surface Pro recently. It charges fine, but the battery just doesn't last very long. It goes from fully charged to dead in about a day even if I'm not using it. It used to hold a charge for a couple days unused.

I did install Windows 10 on it around the time this issue started up, and I'm guessing it's something to do with that. I just don't know what to do about it.

I've read that the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book have power issues. Is this the same thing?

Thanks

Try to create a battery report: (unauthorized link removed)

1) open a command prompt as an admin
2) type and run:
powercfg /batteryreport /output "%userprofile%\desktop\batteryreport.html"
3) you can review the battery report by opening the file on your desktop. Or feel free to post it back here. "Battery capacity history" and "battery life estimates" will probably be most interesting.
