Solved Surface volume rocker buttons not mapped correctly

I have a Surface Pro 1 and I updated it to W10. Just recently I have started experiencing problems with the volume rocker buttons on the surface. When I push the up button, it starts the narrator program and the down button takes screen pictures. I would like to remap them back to volume controls. I have not been able to find a way fix it. Anyone have any help?

Sounds like it thinks the Windows Key is depressed.

Try removing the keyboard cover and then open device manager and uninstall the driver for the remaining Hid Keyboard Device under Keyboards.

Then reboot. Test with the keyboard cover removed and or any other keyboard you may be using. if that's good then try it with any keyboard you use.
