Is there anything that will allow you to tie keyboard commands to touch gestures? I know you can do that with the pen, but you're limited to only 5 different flicks. Or is there a way to create profiles of flicks that you can easily switch out?

By far, the best place is a Microsoft store. Easy returns, fanatical support, well stocked supply and accessories. Hopefully you live near one.

There is an app called "Windows 8 Shortcuts" that gives you pretty much every possible shortcut. Check it out. For me the pen "flicking" business is quite buggy. I really miss the Samsung S-pen on this score. It was excellent for navigating your screen.
