Turning on

When I plugged mine in tonight it turned on. It was off when I plugged it in. Any ideas? Thanks.

Mine does that too - I assume all S3's do this. I have to shut mine down after plugging it in (& making sure it is charging before I shut it down).

Mine will only power on if it is in sleep. If the charger is plugged in while the tablet is powered off, it remains that way. The device coming out of sleep when the charger is plugged in is the same as pretty much every mobile device I've used, I assume to alert the user that it is plugged in properly and now charging.
