I cannot figure out how to add a new account to twitter app. Thanks for your help

Right click or swipe up from the bottom.

You should then get a bar at the top of your screen with an icon in the top right that looks like a person or a + symbol. If it looks like a person, tap it to change it to a + symbol then tap the + symbol and it will ask you for the account details.
