USB charge for a Pro 4

Hi all,
I am very happy with my Surface 4 as it is really a portable computer but I find really bothering to carry the big charger that it needs. I am trying to make a USB charger (something really small to carry better) for it but it does not work due to the little output. Any help on this?

You cannot charge a Surface Pro 1/2/3/4 with USB, you must use the Surface Charging port.

I'm still trying to work out whether the OP means a usb charger, like say the S3, or that he wants to splice a usb plug onto the end of the magnetic charger and have that plugged into a small usb wall socket, a little bit like the SP4 M3 charger.

Be very curious how this works for anyone trying. No reviews are posted
