Video crashing ever 2-10 minutes

Just got this for my wife, she loves it, but of course...problems marring the experience :/

So right now every 2-10 minutes the screen just goes all garbled with random pixels and some flashing, just locks and needs a hard reboot.

Does this happen to everyone, or is the hardware defective?

Is this the Pro or the Surface RT/ 2?

no, obviously you got a defective machine and I would return it immediately for an exchange regardless if it is a pro or RT/2 that doesn't sound/look like normal behavior and what might be happening is your video card might be defective....

what is the trick to get my PICASA SOFEWARE to load to my S2 windows 8

Picasa software is a legacy app software, you cannot install it on a S2, only the pro/pro2 you should have done your homework on the S2 before you bought it...
