Who's getting one?

If the only changes in the SP4 is the addition of LTE 4G I am buying it. Even is all the other specs are the same. I currently have the SP3 i7/512GB and the fact that it lacks LTE is a bummer. I bought it knowing that it lacked 4G and I do not regret my decision but I REALLY wish it had LTE.
In fact within the last year I purchased a total of 3 for my employees. We're moving away from an all Apple organization consisting of Mac Books, Mac Book Pro's, Mac Mini's, iPhones and iPads. All of these are currently being replaced with SP3's and hopefully SP4's in the not to distant future along with Lumia Phones.
Just mt 2 cents.

Why not just tether to your smartphone? I don't see the point in tablets with 4G... just another bill to pay.
Maybe jumping the gun a bit here lol, but what do people think 2016/2017 holds for Microsoft? I'm thinking as this is coming so late in the year, they might skip a new release next year... hopefully meaning a Surface Pro 5 in 2017 (which is when I'll be getting a replacement for mine)

I don't see the point in carrying a phone if my tablet had 4G. Just another bill to pay. I do not own a cell phone and thus I do not carry one. I do carry my SP3 around for presentations, meetings, etc. When I am off work I COMPLETELY disconnect. No need for a mobile.
This is a work thing per your post elsewhere yet you say you use iphones at work then sy you dint have a phone. Im a little confused

I just got the Surface 3 (non-pro), but I could see upgrading and keeping both around if the Pro 4 comes with a 14" display...
With a 12" screen it would be too close in size and form factor to my new Surface but for me a 14" screen size would put it in a whole other camp plus if it came with Skylake and had a good price, I have to say, I would be VERY tempted! My plan was to get the iPad Pro but I'm liking Windows 10 on my Surface 3 alot and I am weighing the benefits of each. The Surface Pro 4 would have a full blown desktop operating system on a tablet whereas the iPad would still be IOS...
The bigger the better is my thinking for this year partially because my next phone is most likely going to be a phablet. My turbo is 5.2 inches and it's already feeling small next to all the Samsungs I see people using out and about. Plus my favorite phone that I ever owned was the HTC One Max which was 5.9" if I'm not mistaken... But I digress.
My point is, the bigger the phone I'm using, the bigger I want my tablet to be. There's no point, for me anyway, to have a phone that's about the same size as my tablet. If I'm going to use both, they should fit into completely different categories. That's why I'm looking at large tablets now. And 14", IMO, is a very large tablet!

Fair enough but to not have a mobile is very rare these days... especially for someone so tech savvy as to have a tablet; I'd say your use case is probably unique.
