wifi issue after the latest update

Has anyone encounter any wifi issue after the latest update? By using the same connection, my surface has encountered several drop out and crazy slow speed but my phone works perfectly. I am going to smash this tablet soon. The more updates we get, the more problems we have.

Most people have been reporting better performance after the last update.
What kind of router do you have that we want to avoid.
