Just a definition update so far :/ They can keep me on 9926 for the next 6 months if they like, but for the love of god fix the desktop inking problem and let me install old MUI onenote again, the new beta one is an utter and complete farce, not sure what they were thinking when they decided to push the update, it's utterly worthless.

FWIW an for the DIYers the Regular Microsoft Patch Tuesday 8.1 updates are now available for download.

Windows 8.1 just asked me if I want to install Windows 10 Preview. That's unusual. Does that mean a big update is out?

No system update that i can find, however i just got a s*** ton of updates for office and defender, and flash etc (27 updates in total, 11 updates just labelled update for office 2013, most of the rest then specific word, excel etc updates). Fingers crossed it improves inking in onenote! Got to be something worthwhile going on for that many updates.

What on earth is a definition update for office?

I don't know what was in those 8.1 updates but they have turned my SP3 into a complete lagfest.

I heard there was a firmware update released today for the SP3 but doesn't show up in Windows Updates. I was wondering if firmware updates show up on Windows 10 Preview just like Windows 8. I would think it does but just wanted confirmation. Does anyone know?
