Did the updates this morning and it has shut down and will not turn on. Any Ideas?

Press and hold the power button for about 8-10 seconds, release, and then try powering on.

    Ooops.
    Late reply.

If this happens again, you can tell if your Surface Pro 3 is actually still powered on (running) even though the screen is black, by touching the Windows logo on the screen. If the SP3 is running, you will feel the haptic feedback.

To power off, hold down the power button as long as it takes to not feek this.
