Favorite Gadgets on my Favorite Gadget

My Surface Pro 3 is a wonder machine. It can handle my geophysics number crunching, my technical database access, my leisure reading, viewing, and writing.

But I wanted a couple of desktop gadgets or widgets, like the clock and the weather items which were part of Windows 7.
There, I said it.

So look what I found for free: 8GADGETPACK.
Brings those gadgets in, much more easily than Windows 7 ever did.
Note: Does not work with Windows RT.

Here are some shots. Took all of one minute to get joy.

One of the things that I seriously missed on my SP3, that I do have on my Win 7 workstation, is the very useful and informative gadgets by AddAGadgets.com. Instant insight into what your CPU is doing, what your drives are doing, and what your network card is doing. For the power user who wants to be completely in tune with their machine, it is invaluable.

8GadgetPack makes those possible again.

However, my warning and caveat is that I have never used any gadgets at all except those by AddAGadget, and @ctitanic's warning must be strongly heeded.

Been using 8GadgetPack since my SP1 without any problems.
My favorite is Clipboarder. I've used other applets to monitor and save items copied to clipboard going back to Win95. This one implements that the best.
