If I dim the screen, use EDGE instead of Google Chrome, and stop all unnecessary services etc - I get 6-9 hours of use. If I run it full blast 3-6 hours dependent on what apps / software I'm running. Of course the SP4's Screen is the biggest drain, so turn that thing down as far as you can stand it.
