I was looking through very different sources but could not find any precise figure for the thickness of the kickstand leg, only the actual metal leg.
I am working on a stand that will elevate the Surface like with any laptop stand, and I need that thickness. My guess is that most of the latest versions 7, 7+, 8, X, 9 all have similar (if not identical thickness, and it should be between 2 and 2.5mm. Precise measurement is though very important
If anyone can share the thickness of their kickstand thickness it would be very helpful. Measurement with caliper is best, but any approximation against a generally available object (like a coin thickness) would be also very good.
