My 4 yr old spilled water on my type cover..

It's probably best to not connect it to the SP3 until it's had time to dry out completely. I don't know if putting it in a bag of rice for a couple of days to dry, like a cell phone, would help.

I spilled coffee on my type cover. I ran to a sink and rinsed it thoroughly with water (figuring dried water was better than dried coffee). It works fine.
Try leaving it out in the sun a few hours.

Glad to hear that it works again. Water is better than milk that a 4 year old might have around them.
