Anyone else out there skip the covers? I have a Wedge Keyboard and mouse, and also use my Nexus 7 as a keyboard and trackpad. Both setups work well, but may pick up the new backlit cover.

Now, that is an interesting idea! Not sure if I would use a Nexus in that way though!!! I use my Nexus (I have the Nexus 10) primarily for watching movies.

I'm very interested in finding out how you set that up.

Here is the free version of the app. It works great so far. I was able to connect my Nexus and Galaxy Note II to the Surface at the same time in order to use one as a keyboard, and the other as a mouse. It takes sometime getting used to the landscape keyboard layout the app implements, and it will never be as good as the real Wedge Keyboard, but it's good if you don't have the keyboard with you.

Wow this seems really interesting. I would love to use my iPhone as a track pad, although I'm sure it would need proper support from Apple in order to work perfectly. Do you know if there's something similar for iOS?
