System alert sound keeps sounding for no reason

Hi.,

after booting my surface pro 3 (i3)., I keep getting.. dong... dong.... dong.... sound for a while with frequent and infrequent time interval.. then after few mins it happens again.

I have no clue that., What is causing this sound?

Are you sure you don't have any apps with background notifications on?

Is it a single dong or double dong? monotone, rising, or falling pitch? dong, da dong, ding dong?
Um yeah probably a notification...
