WiFi status speed changes a lot. It seems to role through different speeds:

    351 Mbps
    468 Mbps
    175.5 Mbps
    234 Mbps

My Dell work laptop stays at 450 Mbps using Killer wireless card.

When I get real close to my wireless router the speed increases and does not change.

I am thinking there is a problem with this AC card in the SP3 with signal. I am showing a solid 4 bars on the icon in the task tray.

Any one else seeing this speed changes?

This is a known problem. Microsoft issued a couple of different updates last month that were supposed to address this, and for some people they apparently did, but for many of us they didn't help.

Next Tuesday is Patch Tuesday, so perhaps we will see another fix then.

It is interesting that some are getting good speed. I suspect the WiFi card in my SP3 is not functioning correctly.
