Solved 1511 Update - Still Waiting

Hi.

I have Windows 10, July 2015 (build 10240) installed on a Surface Pro 3. Windows Update is set to automatically check and download latest updates.

While I'm getting the regular Windows Defender updates, and MS Visual C++ Redistributable updates, Security Updates, etc. I have not received the Windows 10 Version 1511 update which began rolling out last November.

Just wondering if there is a way to force this update without losing my programs or files?

I believe you can download and run the MS Media Creation Tool. That should update you to the latest build.

Thanks for this. I tried the Media Creation Tool, but ended up with the July 2015 version of Win10. I halted the installation and looked around a bit further. Came across this link:

Was able to get the 1511 ISO, 64bit, downloaded. Am installing now.
