Hello,
We have a 55 Surface Hubs and we will be using it to connect to a number of other companies conference rooms an a regular basis. With our Cisco conferencing equipment, the equipment has address book/contact list. With the Cisco address book a user just opens the book and scroll down to the name of the company they want to connect to and which conference room (if the company has more than one room) and click connect. How can we add a address book/contact list that is not part of our AD; that will allow a user to walk in find one of the 44 different conference that we frequently connect to.

Thanks for any assistance,
Gee

Have you setup the Rooms and Hubs in Exchange? Typically you invite the resource to the Conference Call.

Jeff,
Under Office365>Admin>Exchange>Recipients>Resource we have
Display Name - Mailbox Type - Email Address
SurfaceHub01 Room [email protected]
The surface hub Auto logs in as the user mycompanyname\surhub01

Example current situation
Mr. Smith is an engineer with our company. He contacts Mr. Roberts with company xxx for a video conference. Mr. Roberts reserves a room at company xxx's Toeldo plant in conference room #2. Mr. Smith reserves one of our conference for the agreed time and date so he can connect to company xxx's Toeldo plant conference room#2. On the day and time of the scheduled conference Mr. Smith goes to the conference room he has schedule and starts the video conferencing equipment. Then he uses the equipment's built in address book. The address book contains 41 companies some with multiple locations and conference rooms for a total of 71 entries. All Mr. Smith has to do is scroll down till he finds company xxx-Toeldo-con#2 and then push connect.

How can we add the 71 addressees to our Surface Hub without having to create exchange or active directory entries. So that anyone of our users can walk into the hub conference room, and connect to anyone of the locations without having to know the email address of the conference room. and then have to type the address in to make the connection?

Thanks for your assistance,
