Cannot get work outlook to connect

Hello,

I just purchased the surface RT and absolutely love it. However when I try to add my work email I get an error MSG stating that the security does not meet my company's requirements and that I need active sync.

I really hope this doesn't mean I have to return the RT and wait for the pro. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
