Can't charge my SP3 core i7

My sp3 core i7. 512 gig. suddenly stoped charging and my battery has gone so low that it can't power up the device. When I plug the charger into the sp3, no light comes up at the charger tip and no charging takes place. When I try to power the device, the screen comes up but it shows battery low indicator and goes off again. Please somebody help me urgently. What do I do ? Can I charge through another laptop via usb? The charger is working properly because I was able to charge my galaxy note 3 through the second usb port on the sp3 charger.

The cable could be damaged.

It's not damaged because I can still charge other phones through its usb port charger.
