Charging with USB-C charger

I picked up a USB-C charger (18w) and a USB-C to USB-C cable to have a 2nd charger for my SPro7. When I connect it to charge the battery indicator on the tablet flips back and forth between 'plugged in' and 'battery' constantly. Can't seem to find a solution online about why this might be happening. Anyone else having this issue or know a solution? Thanks

18W doesn't have the power to keep up, I would say 45W minimum, I use 60W personally

25w samsung phone charger works fine to charge sp7.
