Well, graphics is the area where Apple is further ahead than MS but yet almost all gaming in PCs. A bit of irony but its good to see that the SP3 will support future enhancements to the Windows platform.
With the upcoming explosion of hiDPI devices, the efficient use of the GPU becomes much more important on the S/W implementation.
I'll be curious about any Direct 2D enhancements that could use the EUs on the GPU.
