Dual boot ubuntu

Hi,
I have My Surface 3 (Atom) for a few days now.
But as I do on all my PCs I always dual boot with Ubuntu.
I have been looking on the web for a tutorial or at least a page where it says that it is working.
Can Ubuntu run on Surface 3? Perhaps touch wont work but wil my type cover work?
If someone can help I'd like to hear it.

I haven't seen a lot of discussion along the lines of linux on the Surface here. It looks likes there are still some hurdles in linuxing the atom Surfaces. This is from skimming the threads at reddit.com/r/surfacelinux -- Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
