Reports from the official MS forums is that the 128GB Micro-SD cards do in fact work showing 119GB Formatted:

as I said previously that the card would work, I don't get some of the replies in that MS comm saying the card would only support 64GB and some saying that it doesn't support SDXC when in fact it does, I swear some people like to talk out of their @ss!

Glad to hear they work, but I assumed they would. They are however completely useless until Microsoft decides to fix the 30% CPU usage problem when using the mSD cards in the SP2, unless you want to trade mSD storage for significantly shorter battery life and a hotter running device.
