Fix to Remove SecureBoot Finally Released!

For those of you who have SecureBoot disabled and hate that "Windows 8.1 SecureBoot isn't configured correctly." watermark on the desktop, they finally released a hotfix for it:

Download Update for Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems (KB2902864) from Official Microsoft Download Center

It's great to finally have that thing off my desktop.

But, I'm curious. Why would you want to disable SecureBoot in the first place?

I use Acronis True Image and in order to boot into their Restore/backup environment, SecureBoot must be disabled--but that's only because they did not make their product SecureBoot-compatible.

My desktop keep displaying "Secure shoe has been disabled". What the heck is secure shoe?
