Ive tried to use the metro apps like Hulu and Crackle on my second external monitor but it doesn't seem like you can. Maybe you can if you make the second monitor the main monitor but then I lose the touch aspect while Im working on the SP3

Interesting. I haven't tried an external monitor on mine yet, but on my desktop with multiple monitors I can drag modern UI apps from one monitor to another at will.

You can absolutely use Metro apps on an external monitor. Simply mouse up to the top of the screen to reveal the application bar and drag over to the external monitor. Works exceptionally well.

You can also drag Metro apps from the left hand application swipe-in and drop them on the monitor that you wish them to appear on.
